Hi, I'm RUTH!

I am a freelance illustrator and self-proclaimed "professional doodler" who loves creating silly and fun imagery that features bold colours and lots of yummy textures. I mostly work in children's publishing, having worked on multiple children's books for publishers around the world, and am in the process of writing some of my own.

I love telling stories through my work and am particularly drawn to fantasy stories, especially if they involve dragons, and so there's usually a sense of whimsy to my work. Outside of work, I enjoy large cups of tea, dreaming of an endless pile of chocolate to enjoy, reading, knitting, and spending time with my studio buddies - my three chaotic and reckless degus (giant gerbils).
